A word from the current VPF

Finance is, along with LCP, the oldest and most stable position in AIESEC. Law requires for an association to have a president and someone responsible for financial issues, dealing with the accounts of the association and making the payments. As a VPF, you are involved in all the processes of the LC and have an important decision power – so to say the last word – in all areas where money is involved. You are also led to actively cooperate with other LC and LCVPFs and the MC at a national level for common financial strategies in Switzerland. The audit preparation and the bookkeeping allow you to learn a lot of skills that are highly transferrable and applicable outside AIESEC. As a VPF, you also have to deal with a small team and learn very useful soft skills such as conflict solving, team management, delegation. For all there reasons don’t miss the opportunity of this great learning and leadership experience!
