ACHIEVEMENTS
Mr. Cosmin Alexandru was awarded with the Alumni Hall of Fame Romania 2002.
He was the founding member of AIESEC in Romania in 1990 together with members from AIESEC in Austria. He was also a founding member of LC Bucharest, the first LC in Romania (in 1990) and LCs Iasi, Craiova, Timisoara, Constanta (1990-1991).

Mr. Alexandru is one of the alumni who was always close to AIESEC, being for more then 3 years constantly mentor for the National Committee and for LC Bucharest. He held numerous trainings for AIESEC members and trainees.
He has helped AIESEC in Romania to build important partnerships in Exchange with Romanian companies.
In 2000-2003 he supported AIESEC in Romania also financially.

He is member of the national BOA of AIESEC in Romania and one of the most involved Alumni in the BOA meetings. He helped to track Romanian alumni and create an alumni network.

He was a founding member of RTR (Research Team Romania), which was one of the first private marketing research companies in Romania (1992-1996).
From 1996 onwards Mr. Alexandru is the General Manager of GfK Romania (one of the leading research institutes in Romania).

Cosmin Alexandru is a founding member of “Leaders Romania”, an NGO for students and graduates with a purpose to promote leadership among young Romanians.
He is the president and a founding member of FRR (Foundation for the Reconstruction of Romania).

Starting with last year Mr. Alexandru is the President of URR (The Union for the Reconstruction of Romania), a new political party, which has the goal to change the Romanian political environment to more democratic.

Under Mr. Alexandru’s management, GfK Romania has been involved in sponsoring NGOs for children like SOS Kinderdorf, Save the Children and the National Federation of foundations for the handicapped in Romania.
